They are not still calling for interviews, as far as I know. I agree that in 2008, I would have had an equal shot; Delta not hiring Comair is fairly recent, last few months. I certainly didn't have the "I won't get hired" attitude previously, or I wouldn't have submitted an app!

What are you basing that on? Nothing has happened that would change HR's view towards CMR pilots. If it has, it's certainly news to the DL line pilots. Besides, why would HR bother to call someone for an interview if they have absolutely no intention of hiring that person. Doesn't make sense. What you're saying just doesn't pass the smell test.

I hope you're not making these assumptions based on some CMR guys you know who got turned down, for reasons other than being CMR, but blaming it on "Delta hates us. That's why I didn't get the job."

Again, if you get the call for an interview, you have a shot. The anti-CMR sentiment exists among some of the line pilots, but HR and those who do the interviewing are above the fray. They're looking for good pilots and employees and couldn't give two shakes where that person comes from.
