Delta done scheduling interviews?
 

Called to schedule an interview after getting an invite and was told they have scheduled all they are going to for now. Anyone else have more info?

um... either thats no big deal or ####.

How long after your invite did you wait to call them back?

1 day because I was flying all day. Called the next day and couldn't get a hold of anyone so I left a voice mail. Then called this morning and got the above response.

my guess is that they're swamped and are just getting the pipeline pushed through. Plus they have potential flow throughs to get into class also.

This. I bet they're waiting to see what shakes out with the flowthroughs before committing to anything else.

I just thought that if they sent an invite there should be an equal amount of interview slots.

Little weird, but they may be working on new data as well. ie a change in direction of the company.

We stopped hiring quickly after the announcement of a merger last time. Who knows what this is. I would call back and see for further clarification. Ask them if they meant this time, or that they are done until they schedule more dates in Aug.

I can tell you that they have not hired enough to meet the 305 requirement in two weeks. I know they have interview sked until at least the end of July though.

Sorry..but that would really suck if that was the case. Most of you are checking emails 10 times a day.

Could be that they have most of the early classes filled up (or feel that they have enough interviews set up to fill them up.) I don't think Delta's ever been real big into pools. They generally like to get people from the interview to class in 1 to 2 months.
