Flying Experience?

is the possession of a pilot license from an aviation degree course a big advantage for entering a pilot cadet programme with a major airline? thankyou

Are you referring to a foreign program, or are you in the US?

I would check out pprune.org, this forum is mostly US pilots who would not be too familiar with overseas training and hiring.

I agree with Rickair - check into pprune.org for better information. That forum is made up of pilots from around the world.

It may depend on the airline with whom you are applying. They may want ab-initio students, or may give credit to those already with a license. Or, they may not care either way. You really should check into the particular airline you are targeting. Good luck!
