Airline apps cross country time entry ???
 

On my airline apps application and in my logbooks I only entered cross country time greater than 50 nautical miles . The cross country time log in airline apps does not specify if its part 61 or 135 x/c time ..what are you guys logging I do not want to short change myself . thanks FP

You refer to 135 and 61 XC, but actually there are three different definitions for XC in 61 (see my post in the other thread). Two of those definitions are specific to aeronautical experience for ratings, the other is the "general" definition which would apply to 135.

It's perfectly OK and expected to use the general definition (any flight with a landing at point B) for logging XC once you have all of your ratings.

But depending on how much TT and XC time you have I might not bother going back and changing your logbook, unless you are short on XC for some airline's minimums. XC is usually not a big competitive factor (although you will need to have a minimum amount for many regionals).

What did you use in airline apps all x/c or greater than 50 nm x/c thanks !

At the time, I had only been logging >50NM so that's what I used. Doesn't hurt either way unless you are going to come up short on XC, in which case use the 61.1 definition.
