School with Self Examining Authority

School with Self Examining Authority
I’m sure this has been covered somewhere and I just didn’t find it but here is my question. I did most of my flight training on the dark side (Delta Connection Academy) and “busted” my instrument check ride. The reason I say “busted” is because Delta Connection has self examining authority and all check rides done as many times as needed until you pass. The only thing submitted to the FAA is a pass. My question is this: When it comes to applications do I put that I have a failed check ride? When I look at my logbook it shows an IFR training flight followed by a flight with my instructor followed by another IFR flight. I don’t have any other “busts” so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Thanks in advance.

Basically it is not in your FAA records, but your logbook tells the story. The interviewer cannot tell for certain by looking at your logbook, but he doesn't not have to prove anything, just have some doubt in his own mind.
If you claim no busts, he will ask you about that double entry in your logbook where there should be only one and watch your expression. You deer-in-headlights look will give up the game.
