Turbine Time....

In the context of keeping options open for a regional, major, corporate, or charter job...

What looks better on a resume?

Multi engine tprop or single engine tprop

high performance piston twin PIC or twin tprop sic?

Single engine tprop pic or tjet sic?

Is PIC just better than Sic

Sorry if this topic was already covered.

Thanks in advance for the help...

high performance piston twin PIC or twin tprop sic?

For airlines turbine time (even SIC) is always better, unless you are REALLY short on total PIC. Once you have 1000 hours PIC (in anything) turbine time is the way to go.

Not for airlines. DAL, CAL, Jet Blue, etc will all hire some applicants with 1000 hours turbine SIC but NOBODY hires caravan pilots for major airline jobs (unles they have other relevant experience).

Major airlines only accept single-engine TPIC because F-16's and AV8-B's (and F-35s) have one engine. They do not really extend that courtesy to single t-prop pilots.

Can't really expand any more on what Rick said - he's absolutely right.
