Well there's your problem. You are WAAAAAAAY overqualified! They probably don't want to invest in somebody who has enough time to go somewhere else when they realize how crappy their QOL is with RAH. They want someone who, from lack of other options, will be dependent upon them and thus they can beat you with a stick and you will take it because you have to.

This is sad, but probably true. I hear it is pretty bad.

Just got the same Email 3400+ hours Learjet Captain, an hour later got a n email saying it was a mistake and that I am still being considered. Is it going to be possible for their to be new hire Airbus F/Os with all the union issues, sounds like they might just be dangling that carrot to get more qualified guys to bite. I for one will not work for 20000 a year, been their done that.

terryhflyer 01-12-2011 12:42 PM

No, Republic will not hire into the Airbus. Don't let them fool you and please if they do say anything about you getting to fly the Airbus let us know on here. Frontier might (slim chance) if they don't sell the 318s maybe doing some hiring. More upgrades possible later this month to MKE.

Will do, sounds like things arent so great their right know, I guess I will keep my descent pt 135 gig and wait for something better in the future.

I applied just a few days ago as well. I dont meet their minimums yet, I got the same email saying that they had already found someone and a few hours later got the email saying it was a mistake. Good luck to the people that got in.
