Default ATP Written still required at Pinnacle???

Does anyone know if the ATP written is still required to interview with them?? I did the airline apps thing and their mins page did NOT include it on there at all, but when I finished the app and did that "compare my app" feature it showed that ATP written was a required check mark...any info from those who recently interviewed???? thnaks for the info

I can't speak for Pinnacle exactly, however on the Colgan/Mesaba side of Pinnacle, my pre interview paperwork has a list of things required for employment, one of which is the ATP written. However, I spoke with the Mesaba HR rep who scheduled my interview and said that most of those things weren't required for the interview but may be required before your class starts. Things like an FCC permit, etc, can probably be deferred for the interview as long as you have it before school. Like I said though, take this for what it is because it's not for Pinnacle per se, though a lot of the paperwork just says Pinnacle holdings on it so I could see them using it for both sides.

When I interviewed a few
Months back it was required. Takes 3 days of study to do it with Sheppaird air. Quick and painless . Do it do it

Not any more, the FAA changed the tests and the current 'gouge' is no longer accurate. Check before you take one of these classes.

I was told my Sheppard Air that people was still passing with 90% and above even with the change. Not positive but this is what I was told.

They made me do it, and I have an interview with them wednesday. I met all the other minimums by far. It's kind of funny because they are interviewing some of my students who have no time, but meet these silly mins. for a direct hire agreement we worked out.
