Logbook Question

Bringing my totals from my old logbook to my new one, I just noticed that my DPE forgot to enter the time for my private checkride in the day column, so now day does not equal night. I also realized that I accidently entered cross country time for a flight that did not qualify. How should I address this? Should I just put a late entry on the last page adding the 1.6 of day referencing the checkride? If I go on an interview will they even notice the flight not qualifying as a cross country?

i doubt highly they'd notice the xcountry mistake, but if you want to stay 'completely' legal, in the old logbook, write two new lines, one adding the checkride flight time, and one subtracting the xcountry time and just put an explanation for both in the notes section.

Correct. This corrects the discrepancy and documents the when and why, which should avoid any confusion or suspicion of falsification. It's also a lot easier than changing the original entry and re-adding all the totals on every page.
