Hmmmm....

Shave.

"completely"

Wow, I recon this interview is gonna be more "thorough" than I anticipated.

:p

Trim your fingernails as well, I can't stand long fingernails. Make sure that any visible nose and ear hair are dealt with also. They're BIG pet-peeves of mine, along with spitting. I really notice those things first about a person, so there might be others like me who notice the same things.

Hey whatever gets you the job, right? :p

I will say I had a buddy who went to Lakes with a goatee and got the offer. But I wouldn't chance it.

Yeah, no doubt.
I shaved (my face) and got a haircut.
Wont make me a better pilot.
Might make me a better applicant.

To be succinct: It is physically impossible for me to fart loud enough to express my true opinion of what some use to define professionalism. Wearing a tie only means I wasted money on a useless piece of cosmetic fluff whose only purpose other than to get in my way is to keep my white polyester shirt from getting food stains.

But I know perception is reality and appearance is what counts. Sadly....its ALL that seems to count.

No worries, I can play the game.

It is a known fact that people tend to consider someone with facial hair to be less trustworthy than cleanshaven men. This is a subconscious perception thing, there's no good reason for it, but it is what it is.

Don't forget. Guns don't kill people. People with mustaches kill people. :)

Clean/polished shoes, breath mints and only raise your hand if you're sure.
