Expired CFI

Will my having an expired CFI cause any problems in the Airline Interview Process?

STLaviator 07-15-2011 03:58 AM

No I wouldn't think it would cause any issues. They might ask why it's expired or why you chose not to renew it. At least as long as your most recent job wasn't instructing and you let it exprier, then you might have some explaining to do ;) But really I think you should be ok

No, not a problem. Bring it to show that you held a CFI at one point.

You still hold the CFI and all of the ratings on it. You just can not exercise the privileges of it until they are reinstated.

And no, it is not a problem, but if an application ask if you have a CFI, the answer is yes.
