Suggestions for Jet Transition Course

I have been out of the industry for several years due to a medical condition. Everything is good now and I have my First Class reinstated. Also, I am Instrument current and have flown about 25 hours in the last 6 months...C172.
I have sent out resume's to the Regionals and have been offered a interview IF I take a Jet Transition course. I previously worked for a Regional and have about 3200hrs SIC in the CRJ. I understand that there are concerns with the "Gap" in my flying 121 and am willing to take the course.
I was just wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to where to go and what the cost mught be??? I have checked ATP Flight Academy but didn't know if someone might have a better suggestion. I live near DC, but dont mind traveling...
Thank You!

That must be a pretty good job for you to want to spend that money, but maybe there are better ways to spend it. Since you have money to burn, what about a citation type rating or other similar aircraft? Then you got something tangible for other contingencies and if something "better" comes along, and it's not like they can't say it isn't a "jet course". If they are pushing some "specific" jet course, then I'd stay away because it sounds like a shady/kickback type deal. Anyways, I'd be thinking about the real future...

It sounds a little fishy Tripper. Considering your times you have and the cost of these "courses" I would keep looking.

Tipper -

And they are expecting YOU to pay for the course correct?
I thought it was AE that was sending certain people with a low time or other conditions through a Jet Transition course, but they were paying for it I thought.
I can't imagine YOU paying that much money for a course like that with the years or experience (and the number of jet hours) that you already have operating in that same environment.

You have 3200 hours jet and they want you to take a jet transition course? Run away, it's a scam.
