Degree: 3 year vs 4 year?

Hey all, I started school part time recently while I fly, and I'm wondering if there is a big difference at the major level between a 3 and 4 year degree?

Thanks,
CC

I know a 2 year and a 4 year degree. Never heard of a 3 year degree. If it takes you 3 years to finish a 2 year program I wouldn't highlight it.

Majors want a 4-year degree (never heard of a 3 year). A 2 year might punch the ticket a certain majors (notably SWA) but only if you are well connected.

Lack of a 4-year will be a hit, you'll need something in the plus column to make up for that.

Thanks guys!

I guess a 3 year degree program is a Canadian thing....I was wondering if the 4 year thing was a big one or not. I'm sure that won't be hard to do, just some extra courses.

Thanks for the replies! Rick7777, I feel like I can always count on you to have great replies to my questions. Thanks!

Three year degrees are also quite common in Europe. If you are Canadian, you should maybe ask on Avcanada and you'll get some better answers.
