"P-51 ime" is an aviation reference to "pencil-whipping" your logbook, ie fraud.

AMF is a solid place to get quality time flying in all kinds of weather and equipment. Also it's a good way to get some Twin Turbine PIC a lot sooner than most other routes. It's also not unusual to be a direct hire into a BE-99, depending on the company's needs at the time.
It's true a lot of our guys go to Skywest once they get some solid hours under their belts. Something else to consider: AMF opens a lot of other doors other than just Skywest....especially if you log some time burning kerosene in the left seat.
To each their own, and you can never get a call if you do not apply :-)

Time building for Skywest advice needed!

Can't speak to Skywest, but a buddy of mine with about 1300 hours total and 50 multi or so just got on with Republic in the Q interviewed at a job fair and got the call back two days later.

I know about 7 people who all got hired on with Skywest. They really do not care how you get the mins as long as you get them. A few of those people just split time without doing any Multi CFI work.

A MEI shouldnt cost that much. Maybe $2000 at most. You already know how to teach. Just do the lesson plans, chair fly the plane on a at home simulator, and take a lesson with and experienced MEI to get signed off.
