Interviewed 25years ago....
... I interviewed with a few airlines a long time ago and wondering if I decide to interview again with the same ones, is it wise or not so wise or is it required that I tell them on the app that I applied that long ago, but either turned them down for either a job offer or an interview?
Will they have records from that long ago? Thanks for the advice Kap |
Certainly would be a good idea if the app asks that particular question. 25 years is a long time, but who knows - maybe they do have that info somewhere.
You don't want to be that guy they pulled out of indoc, that never returned after lunch. |
I seriously doubt that they would hold anything against you from 25 years ago (well maybe AMR) unless it was of felony proportions.
So probably best to just tell them if the question is asked in any way. I might even bring it up at the interview if they don't ask...good conversation point. |
There is a golden rule to be followed in any interview scenario, answer only what they ask, don't volunteer information that is not directly asked.

I guess. But every aviation interview I've ever seen asks if you've interviewed there before. If so, I'd say yes. Why hide it?

I'd bet the standard answer they hear is "no" or includes some negative incriminating detail...if you did something cool and it took you another direction, I'd tell them about it...
