FlightSafety

With a growing family and some other issues I have seriously been looking for flying jobs that would allow me to be home more and having gone to FlightSafety consistently for the past 10 years it seems like an interesting option. Does anybody have any opinions? Know anything about pay, schedule, and benefits etc.?

I was offered 65k and decent benefits with raises around the 3% mark each year.

I would highly recomend Flight Safety if you're on furlough... You get to network and you will be current on whatever you're teaching. Also you might get a new type-rating...

If you do it, do yourself a favor, make sure you teach corporate guys, NOT AIRLINES... those regional-jet type-ratings are completely useless (ask me how I know), and no possibility of networking
