Airline recommendations
 

With 20 years of AF flying, I've got a good network of friends at various airlines. Do I ask them all to do recommendations or do I need to be selective. One retired 10 years ago after 30 years at Delta, others I haven't flow with in 10 or 15 years (prior commanders and evaluators, etc), and some I work with now but never fly together (different acft). Is it OK to have more than 3-5 at any given airline.

I'd be selective, ask them if they are really happy there and to describe for you "a week in the life" etc. I won't name names but there are many large airlines I would never ever apply for.
