737 type school recommendations

Without sounding presumptious....I am trying to find total cost of 737 type rating in case the call from SW happens. Looking for recommendations from past experience of different companies and cost of type and lodging, time required for training, etc. Companies to avoid, etc.
Any with payment plans, or are all paid upfront....Thx!

Give the people at Higher Power Aviation a call. A lot of their graduates go to Southwest. Dick Karl wrote an article about them in Flying Magazine a few years ago. Search flyingmag.com and you might find it. I believe they were in the 7-10K range and they have financing available.

I can confirm the 7-10K range for Higher Power. I have an info sheet from them, but I can not link it directly. Depends on type of 737 for the costs. 737 NG is a little over 10K.
