PSA or CommutAir
I have interviewed with both companies and was offerend the job. I am looking for some advice on what would be the better choice.
Bases are not an issue, i'd figure it out. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
PSA or CommutAir
"Bases are not an issue, I'd figure it out."
You're going to eat those words in the first year. Good luck! |
Im pretty much located in the middle of where psa and commutair have their bases and i plan to move where im based. Thanks! I know it will be tough, but its what you make of it.

Yeah everyone seems to really like what they are doing.. I sense the sarcasm. Just looking for some advice :)

From what i have read, nothing is guaranteed except one plane by 2016 i believe?
|
It's 30 aircraft with deliveries starting Summer '14. Internal memos say the planes will be growth, but we will just have to see. Even with the junk pay cap at year 4, you'll make significantly more at PSA..Movement will probably be similar to Commutair if the new planes at PSA are growth. If they aren't, you may be stuck on 4th year pay for a while. DAY is the junior base.

Dude... Easy decision.. PSA... Upgrade times are going to be pretty close. Better work rules and pay at PSA. Jet time, ( it matters) and you won't hate your life and end up at PSA anyway after a year when you realize what you've done. Yes, I was there.
|
Commutair. Upgrade is decent, and you wont get that look down the road when you said you worked for PSA. Especially after the concessions.
