Air Freight Question

I want to fly air freight. I already have the plane in which is set up for cargo, but do not know how I can get into this. Can I find a broker and or what would I need? Is this a market that I could be profitable in?

Thank,
John

If you already have a plane set up (what type?), you'll need a part 135 operating certificate, which is no easy thing to get even if the FAA is currently processing them.
You'll need a Mexican and Canadian operating certificate to really be marketable.
You'll need insurance for the operation and in the different countries.
You'll need pilots, mechanics, etc.

Then you can set up with a broker who will look for and arrange flights. Depending on your airframe type, it may fly more or less.

I wish you the best but it would be much, much easier to sell the plane to a cargo company, pocket the cash, and let them deal with it.
