That was one of the biggest turn downs for me with engineering lets face it they do spend most of the time at the desk depending on what sort of engineer you are. My buddy actually got a job at United as a aerospace engineer testing the corrosion on the skin of aircraft how cool!

But to me I just couldn't stand sitting in a cubical and all the big complex numbers and everything went to something so small. I would rather sit in a cockpit any day and almost everytime I fly I enjoy it. The money really is the biggest issue but to me you couldn't pay me enough to sit behind a computer for the next 40 years.
