Don't worry about leaving. You WILL need to break free from UPS to pursue your flying. Get your flight time, then come back. I threw boxes for UPS in college. My interview (9 years ago) went great and they loved the fact I worked for UPS previously. We had a lengthy conversation about that. As long as you leave on good terms, it's a benefit, not detriment.
