SAN/CLD - LAX Commute
I was wondering if anyone commutes from the San Diego area (SAN or CLD) up to LAX. It seems like there are quite a few flights that head up there, just curious how full they usually are. I really don't want to move from San Diego to LA, and I also don't want to sit in traffic on the 405 all day, so trying to find a better way. Thanks!

Tons of commuting pilots between SAN/CLD to LAX.. Skywest flies E-120's between CLD-LAX.. Flights are normally FULL and/or weight restricted. Difficult commute. Most do the I-405 parking lot or alternate surface routes (PCH) etc...

If I was doing that commute I'd drive. By the time you leave enough backup flights and get bumped you could have driven already.
CLD might have more seats on any given day, but the only option there is the SKW Bro. At least parking is easy.
Try bidding show times that avoid the worst of the 405, and don't forget that toll road that bypasses SNA.
