Of course I'll be honest and forthright about everything. It just bothers me that the airlines take traffic tickets so seriously. Of any job you'd think one that requires flying a jet aircraft to be the least concerned about speed.

Don't lie about the tickets. I listed all of them and wrote the conviction next to it as NOT CONVICTED. Which technically means it never happened. And I've gotten a handful of those. (Damn speed traps).

Almost everybody gets a ticket at some point. They are looking for a pattern of disregard for the rules, ie multiple tickets especially in a relatively short period of time. |
Go to Virginia DMV on line and pull your record, next the actual charge if it says civil infraction or misdemeanor. If its misdemeanor not sure if Virginia reports criminal traffic to the FBI data base but either way you need to disclose the ticket and final disposition.

"Reckless" is not acting responsibly. You've got no flight time and no experience, and therefore no leg to stand on when seeking employment. Approaching it from the position of a flippant attitude won't help your case. Take it very seriously. Your potential employers will, and you've plenty of competition that will understand the implications of irresponsible behavior. You're posting in other threads regarding your frustration at not finding work at your experience level. Don't compound that by simple mistakes and reckless behavior. |
