Landings??
On the AA application, the flight times section asks for total landings by aircraft. I stopped keeping a logbook of my tanker time a long time ago due to constant 781 discrepancies between the time I logged, and the time that was entered into ARMS. ARMS obviously doesn't keep track of the total amount of landings I perform, so the closest to a number that I can come up with for the application is....lots and lots. How important is an accurate number for that section?

I wouldn't have a clue how many landings I had, just make something up, no one cares.

They are only interested in the moon landings you have performed, make sure those are accurate.

^^^This is the correct answer. Give it your best guess and leave it at that. HR takes your logbooks on day one, the AA interviewers look at your logbook prior to the interview and the HR folks give them back at the end of the second day. I haven't heard of anyone getting asked a question about their logbook. |
While there are many things which might raise eyebrows or inquiries about your logbook, logged LDGs is not one of them. Pick a reasonable number.

As a military guy, what do I bring for a log book? I haven't kept a separate one, so do I just take copies of my ARMS products plus the totals-by-aircraft printout? Also, how is everyone accounting for PIC? I was planning on doing a percentage of my time (75%??) after I had upgraded to an Acft CC.
