Haha. Good ideas fellas. Number one, I would get a second job, but I can't because I am on call 24x7 (I know all about the legalities of said setup, but that's just how they operate). So that's out.

As for dating a rich person, I'd be game, but let's face it fellas. Flying as a junior-ish FO with a part 135 on demand charter company doesn't necessarily make for prime dating opportunity.

It's not ALL about the money, ask enjoy flying, I simply want to make a LIVING wage. I understand in the long run a desk job can pay more, but at the end of the day it is a desk job. I'd prefer to fly. Is it so bad for a Lear sic to ask for 40-60k? I don't think so!

And a cfi is a possible route I could go. I don't even have my comm single however and doing more training on my own would mean more money. Not to mention the previously mentioned time issue.

Ask for a raise. You do a job that is worth more than poverty wages. If another 2-3 dollars a hour is going to bankrupt the operation then move on.
I am tired of managers expecting pilots to work as slaves.
Anyone who thinks its ok for their pilots to live in poverty deserves no respect. I don't care how many moon landings they have.
