Glasses vs Contacts

Is it best to wear glasses or contacts to an interview?

I'd wear contacts, but that's me. I look horrible in glasses.

Lol....it doesn't matter one way or another as long as you look professional.

I wore contacts my first 10 years of flying. Then one day while flying a trip, one contact lens literally fell out (probably due to the dry cabin air and my eyes getting "drier" (less natural moisture) as I have gotten older. It is just as well because I now wear progressive lenses for distance and near vision.

I switched to glasses after that episode and have had no issues the past 15 years. Highly recommend having at least 2-3 pairs of "backup" contacts, saline solution AND at least one extra pair of glasses in case of loss or breakage while on the road. Many companies require this as standard protocol.

Vaguely possible that old-skool military guys might have a genetic prejudice against glasses. All else being equal, if go with contracts for an interview.
