I used Lori Clark at flytheline.com and was very well prepared.

Word from a friend at a recent trade show was he overheard the chief pilot ask a group of folks about to be interviewed if they did interview prep. After he asked if anyone used Lori, he responded, "You all won't have any problem."

Other interview prep courses have also been recommended ... Bottom line is if you want the job, do the prep.

ALPA/ALASKA AIRLINES OPEN HOUSE REGISTRATION: MARCH 19–25

If you know an aspiring aviator who is seeking a pilot career with Alaska who is currently working for another ALPA carrier – spread the word. This effort is based on a successful model utilized by our ALPA brothers and sisters at the United MEC.

Registration for the April 22 ALPA/Alaska Airlines Open House will begin tomorrow, March 19th, and will remain open through 5 p.m. PDT on March 25th. Pilots must be ALPA members and have a current, accepted application on file with Alaska Airlines to be eligible to attend this open house.

Please note that this event is not first-come, first-served; all eligible pilots who submit registration during the March 19–25 window will be considered for one of the 125 slots. Pilots who meet the selection criteria but are not selected at this time will be placed on a wait list and notified if a slot becomes available. During the open house, participants will take part in informal, one-on-one meetings with Alaska Airlines' recruiting team. A limited number of participants will then be invited to participate in formal interviews with Alaska Airlines on April 23–24.

To support our ALPA brothers and sisters who want to be fully prepared for the ALPA/ALASKA OPEN HOUSE and possible follow-on interview we will be offering the following sessions:

Monday 20 April 0900 - 1100 Group Session for up to 24 people - $100.00 per person
Monday 20 April 1200 - 1700 Individual 1 hour session (10 slots available) - $100.00 per person

Tuesday 21 April 0900 - 1100 Group Session for up to 24 people - $100.00 per person
Tuesday 21 April 1200 - 1700 Individual 1 hour session (10 slots available) - $100.00 per person

An interview prep package will be provided prior to the event. Everything will be covered in the 2 hr group session.

If you think you need extra work then feel free to reserve an extra 1 hour individual session.

To be clear this event is for ALPA pilots that have been invited to the OPEN HOUSE on 22 April.
Bring your ALPA card to the event for verification of fraternal membership.
