Default Bachelors a yes or a No??

Is it worth taking a bachelors degree in a field related to aviation or just any bachelors degree? This is to become a comercial pilot of course

absolutely yes. It can be in basket weaving or childhood education (good to meet teachers) but probably best in something you could use if you get laid off or loose your medical. NOT in aviation studies tho, something useful.

Any degree is better than none but make sure you get good grades.

Get a degree in something that interests you. You always need a fall back plan when working in aviation. Also, if you hit the big leagues it may provide extra income during your off time.

What if one has good experience but no degree. ie: CFI, Freight Dog Captain, and then applies to a regional but no degree? What if one dose not have ambitions at the moment to make it to the Majors, but is content with Regional Captain or a local Corporate gig? What if one has a backup plan that doesn't involve a degree like a CDL driver?

Then it sounds like one could be either a regional pilot or a truck driver. Just remind one that one will not fly for a major if one does not get their degree. Whatever makes one happy!!!

Ditto for getting a degree in what interests you. Doesn't matter as long as you have it and most likely you'll earn a higher GPA if you like what you are studying.
