Going through training is stressful and you often are unable to see the forest through the trees. Continue your training to get your Private. Once you are able to fly without anyone looking over your shoulder you will have your answer.

I strongly recommend you get a degree in something other than aviation. Go get your ratings at the local FBO. It will be cheaper for you in the long run and will get you a degree you can fall back in in case aviation doesn't pan out for whatever reason.

I suggest you give the PPL training more time to work. Sometimes people dislike a new activity because they don't think they are any good at it. I felt that way about instrument flight training under the hood, but one day I flew a GCA to minimums in actual IMC, and the runway appeared right in front of me. "Hey, I can really do this!", and from then on it was fine. :)

If you want something to be your passion it is not your passion.

And further, passion is not what will get you through 40 years in this career.

You can't really want something to be your passion. Either it is is or isn't.
As previously stated get your private and then perhaps reconsider what you want to do. Having confidence in yourself and your abilities will help.

My passion for aviation has been during my entire lifetime. The same passion that drove me and influenced me during my years on active duty as a fighter mechanic is the same passion/drive as a pilot. This is where I disagree w/Chip.

I have to agree with RAMA 100% because no one can create a passion for you to do anything. if I find a woman attractive you may not. If I were you I would make damn sure I can answer that question because it may be an interview question.
