If his app is for the regionals then he is best just listing the ticket anyway and giving an approximate date. A 15 year old speeding ticket is not going to dealbreaker at any regional that I know of given the current hiring climate. Then at least he can get his name in the hat that much quicker and hopefully get a sooner class date than if he waited around for several weeks waiting for all of these reports to come in from various government agencies. Of course that is assuming that he only has a couple of minor traffic offenses. Major traffic offenses are a different story.
