Pilot Job I can go home more often?
I know that having an airline job will force you to be away from your family most of the time, is there a pilot job that pays decent and I get to go home more often than not? Thanks

Your question is much too broad for a good answer from anyone. I see you're new here (Welcome!) so you need to spend more time reading the previous postings to learn more about what types of flying jobs interest you. Then ask more pointed questions about those jobs.
Most of us want more family time. The question is, are you willing to sacrifice that when needed? There isn't a career pilot anywhere who gets "decent pay" who hasn't had to compromise on "family time", even if it was only for a few years of his career. The more emphasis you put on stability and family, the more doors you are shutting on career progression. It's a trade-off we all make, to some degree. If you aren't willing or able to do that, a pilot career is not for you.
As for "airline" jobs, I do fly for a major passenger airline and I can tell you that if you're willing to pay your dues for a few years working at the less-senior positions in your company, you can move up to where you can trade some career-progression opportunities (income) for a much higher quality of life. Then it becomes your choice. You might delay moving up to larger airplanes or upgrading to Captain so that you can be more senior on the smaller equipment and hold shorter, more desirable trips.
If you want to be with family, live in your domicile. Don't try to commute.
And if by "family" you are including extended family (parents, siblings, etc), do your research and find a job where you can be based in or near the area they live.

thought about a gubment job? FAA is hiring alot because of massive retirements. If you are younger than 31- consider ATC. If you want to do airplane checks, you should consider being an ASI. You will be involved in aviation and home most nights... Great benefits and retirement...

Work for a government agency (state, police, CBP, FBI, forestry, fire management, etc), EMS fixed or rotary wing, or management at an aviation company. There are some other golden eggs out there - go find them.
