SIC Type Rating

I have three of them, and am wondering how worthwhile they will be when I apply to a major airline one day. Obviously they do not compare with PIC type ratings, but do they hold any value at all? For all intents and purposes they just seem like a fancy way of showing that you can act as SIC internationally....

I have a few as well, someone looking at my resume mentioned it looks good for the fact that it shows you're able to learn different aircraft and flexibility in being able to fly different types (maybe concurrently) which would make one look like they could make it through training and such...pretty much makes you look trainable.

The SIC type was created to show foreign CAAs that you were trained. The foreign CAAs wanted proof that the F/O had been trained and would not accept the idea that the airline or operator would not put non-qualified people in the seat. So instead of carrying your training records around the FAA created the SIC type.
