Top 3 schools and Top 3 regionals
Hello guys
With all the changes we heard this year in the industry and many airlines changing their labor contracts, what are the top 3 regional airlines in the US one can consider to start his career as first officer?
What about the top 3 flight training programs? I'm not talking about the ones with college degrees like Embry Riddle.
Thank you

There are already a lot of threads on this. No one can even begin to give you an educated opinion until you state your current TT, if any, education, background, etc. What are you aware of in aviation so far?

Thank you guys
I'm just about to start my training. I live in Miami but willing to relocate depending on the school. I'm asking guys with previous experience. I don't want to make any mistakes en route. Need to plan everything right now.

With that said it really does not matter what school or regional you choose. Just do what makes you happy. Flying isn't everything. One day you'll be sitting at a Major and look back and realize that. Go wherever you will have the most fun. Flying and the airlines will always be there so make sure you have fun along the way.
Last, but not least minimize debt. It's almost next to impossible to come out debt free, some have done it, but at least try to minimize it.
Best of luck dude. Just live in places you will enjoy and have as much fun as you can!

Personal opinion, but the military provides a lot of people a pretty decent background in flying... and they foot the bill to boot.

The best thing you could do at this point is to forget doing the zero to commercial route and just get your private license first. Go somewhere where you can fly 3-4 times a week, but keep up with the book work!
Only by doing a PPL first will you get a sense of your aptitude and what flying is like. Don't worry about the latest GPS or glass cockpit either. If you can find an older guy, pay him what he's worth, because he's seen it all. You;re going to want to learn good stick and rudder skills, maybe even get tail wheel endorsement. You can build up a lot of experience in FL, esp. banner towing.

Thank you guys. A lot of valuable information.
Not worried about the financing though. I have 100k sitting in a bank account.
Any alternative to instructing to get to 1500?
And I still have no answer about the regionals. Anyone here to give us his take on the best and strong regionals for 2016

Ultimately, live in base, live in base and after that live in base. Choose somewhere with some movement and short reserve times.
