He's done asking whether he should be an airline pilot. Since he's exploring other options, I'm happy to answer his questions now.

If he just asked once a lot of us are willing to answer his questions, as I've done for him numerous times in the past. He's asked about other options on numerous occasions, too.

Stets656, despite your continuous concern about what you should or shouldn't be doing; I would like to bring to your attention that the training environment can bring about those exact feelings. As I pursued my training, I questioned my career choice numerous times; however, it is only normal. My honest opinion, is to stick with it and continue your training. In the long run, you will be glad you did. You are most definitely not the only person out there with concerns about making the right decision. Feel free to contact me via pm/email for further help.

There are no requirements for an aircraft broker or salesman beyond what the individual employer may apply.

For any job, one need only be more qualified than the next applicant, assuming he meets the employers basic requirements.

There are many other jobs in aviation other than piloting. Far more than piloting, actually.

Pilot, air traffic controller, smaller airport manager, demo pilot/sales (a job I would have taken had it not been in Wichita).

USAF, Navy, USMC, Army, & Coast Guard have tons of aviation related jobs that could provide huge amounts of experience w/out any financial costs to you.

ATC is facing a shortage of controllers.
