Advice on future career

All
Seeking some honest feedback and inputs on the following scenario
the question really is-- is the ATP worth the investment now and does it help with any hiring corporate or charter positions? Yet i don't really see myself jumping to regionals in 2-3 yrs after retirement -- would like to fly corporate/charter, maybe instruct and keep options open

3000 TT---mainly helicopters,
I have the ATP mins for total time and fixed wing mins, written ATP completed and CMEL, CFI ASEL and CFII rotorcraft (the CMEL is limited to centerline thrust from UPT)
Actively flying C172s and active military flyer--

So..looking for feedback on do i pursue the ATP?? ( if i can get off a waiting list right now) and my instinct tells me I am getting in a long line of ATPs with loads of FW time ahead of me...
thanks for the thoughts

Yes, the ATP is pretty much expected for any corporate/charter job. You won't be looked without it.

If you really want to save the cash, and you won't be retiring for 2-3 years, don't get it. There will be plenty of places that will pay for you to get it by then, and your small amount of fixed wing time will not be particularly valuable until you have ANY job flying a plane.
