Default Canadian DUI (Pardoned)-Flight School & TSA

Hi,

I am a Canadian in the process of getting my Feb 2011 DUI in Canada pardoned (or how it is referred to now - record suspended)

Essentially, for any (Royal) Canadian Mounted Police Federal fingerprint and criminal reference check, it will NOT show.

My question is: I now understand the TSA must approve m - Visas for any international students attending a flight school. TSA states that you cannot have a criminal record or a DUI.

Will they see A Canadian pardoned DUI though whatever links they have to the Canadian Royal Mounted Police (RCMP)??

Also, I have also read that the FAA medical will asks for this information. IS the FAA medical before I take flight school or to be certified after completing the 100K investment.

Thanks!
