records from out of business airlines?

Hello everyone this is my first time posting,
My question is how do you get your records from an airline that has gone out of business? I used to work for ACA/Independence Air. They went out of business in 2006. Since nothing exist of them, where would an airline that you are applying for go to get the Pria records. I know a lot of ex-indy guys got hired at other airlines so what address did you use and did you actually get a response back? Is there someone keeping the lights on at some deep dark Indy file vault out there? Thanks

After one year, records are not required to be maintained.

PRIA only goes back 5 years.

If asked to fill out a PRIA form for anything older than five years, just do it. The form will most likely never make it back and is more of HR concern..

I have been asked for a copy of a pay stub in similar situation. They wanted just to verify I worked there even though the company had been out of business for quite some time.

Honestly, this is not even really an issue.
