Background Check What Shows?
Hi I have searched on this forum regarding background checks and haven't been able to find an answer to this question. If I was written up in college by the res life department but did not have any criminal inquiries of the sort will this appear on a background check? I made a dumb mistake and decided to be around my friends throwing a party in the dorms. The police came and took the alcohol and our info but did not issue any citations or arrest anyone. Will this info be available in the future? I was actually found to not be responsible during the process however I do understand that it was a bad decision.

If there was no arrest involving actual booking or criminal charges then the wording of questions on airline applications will almost certainly not require you to disclose it. You have nothing to worry about.
Worst case if you encounter a question which seems to cover your situation, it will be a non-event.
But don't check yes to any boxes about arrests if you don't have to, because that will delay your call for an interview.
