Regional Company Info
I'm hoping to start interviewing with the regionals in the next few months. Been doing all the typical research on the companies (upgrades, QOL, domiciles, etc...) but i'm also looking for information on companies to figure out which ones show the most promise for growth, profit, stability, and the like to help me make a more informed decision. Also, try to make impression on interviewers if i know something about the company.
What i need is suggestions on where to look for reliable info on:
1. company history
2. recent company news
3. future company predictions (besides here of course)
I'm not looking to become some wall street expert, just what i might want to know as a future pilot/employee.

Download this sheet and use it as a guide to search for information about the airline you want to work for. You can even fill out several sheets for 3-4 airlines and compare which one you feel is best for you after compairing pay/health care/retirment/etc...

Forums like APC provide a conduit to/from people in the trenches who have a pretty good feel for a lot of what's going on, and don't usually have an agenda. (APC is a lot more rational than some other aviation forums).

Rickair777 makes a good point. Everyone has an agenda. You, me, everyone. APC is a great forum but just as the company press release has a spin to it so do posts on any public forum because nothing stops a management person or disgruntled pilot from posting bogus info or misleading opinions.
It’s important to look at any advice you get and see if it makes sense and if it comes from a source that can note references or experience. APC has a wealth of great information from some very experienced pilots and instructors. But that doesn’t mean you can trust all that you read even if it comes from someone who you think is very experienced. You always need to do a little research yourself. APC will have many folks that can guide you and aid in your search.
