Career Changes
 

Hi all, just looking for some opinion on making career changes in the current climate. Looking at making a career change after almost 5 years in at my current company. The truth is that, although grateful and excited over the opportunity, I'm also thinking of keeping my number one choice as a goal for another couple years. I personally think too many changes raises red flags and would be a reason for a company to not want to hire you. Perhaps that is different now in this current climate of hiring though? Maybe there is a poster here that has hiring experience and can give some insightful thoughts. Thanks!

That's kinda a difficult question to answer without more info. What are you doing now, etc?

I think if it is a lateral move with a good path to further career it won't look bad.
