Reflecting Upgrade on your resume.
Quick question...
When you've upgraded at your current airline, do you have two separate entries on your resume for the same company, FO first with associated dates and then another one as a CA with upgrade date or do y'all just put one entry as Captain? Not sure if it makes much of a difference, but there's gotta be a way that's more widely accepted or recommended by recruiters... Thanks! FS |
Two separate entries are not required. We tell our clients to list the name of the airline, your titles, and then details about your titles. For example:
XYZ Airlines Captain B-737, First Officer B-737, CL-65 I do this I do that |
Good info, thx!

In the interest of keeping the resume down to one page, I list my current job, then something like "also served as FO in the same aircraft". Airlines know that upgrade is the natural progression.

Thanks Rick, makes sense
