Default SOO routes

Looking at flightaware, it seems the 777 only does CVG- Leipzig or Bahrain and on to Hong Kong and on to LAX or CVG... Are there ever any variations??
Ever get to Australia or just something to break up the monotony?

The short answer is no.

Once a week the LEJ plane goes to EMA for an overnight. There are weekly stops in ANC and SHJ but not as overnights, just a tech stop or to offload a pallet or two. The 5th 777 has overnights in ICN.

7 overnight stations, 9 airports served. That's it.

Your way out of date there robthree. It's been over a year, more like two, since you have been at SAI, right? A lot has happened.

Two fatigue calls, one in ANC and one in SHJ have now made those locations a crew change. Those calls were over a year ago!

ICN operations evaporated a long time ago.

We are doing some ops out of MXP.

Lots going on at SAI, which you are not aware of. Maybe you should stick to what you do know to be relevant. Quite frankly with all the time that you have been gone, there's not much that would be.

Maybe you should move your commentary on to happier, greener, pastures? Don't you have anything better to do with your time? I mean after all that's why you left, right?

Leave the hopelessly stuck SAI old guard to navigate the sh*t piles in the SAI paddock!

Well Diesel, I'm happy to hear you're getting a bit of variety in your diet.

That ought to clear up your constipation. I can't think of any other reason you'd be so pointlessly rude. Yep my info is a bit dated. Roughly 18 months old. After two years of flying the 777 at SAI on that exact schedule with no exceptions, I truly am surprised you're getting to see another airport. Any other airport.

So please answer the question Mr Rumbold posed, where is the variety in flying on the 777 at SAI? Because you didn't really answer - you were too busy badmouthing me.

And as far as commenting on SAI, that's the whole point of these boards isn't it? To ask and answer questions, as best one can. That's what I did. As best I could. And you corrected me, halfway. If you weren't so intent on being a jerk, you might have done a better job.

A little thin skinned aren't we? Did not insult you. Made a suggestion.

Just proved that your commentary at this point in time is irrelevant, even though you might want to sell it as gospel.

You could say that you don't know, and preface what you say about SAI is in fact not current information.

Methinks you crave constant adulation for your participation. This is the product of a generation suckling on the teat of social media.

Me, I really don't care.

I wouldn't even bother responding to this load of garbage.

PotatoChip is still butt hurt because many years ago he was hired as a temporary gear-puller on the B747-400 and got furloughed as the company wound down the Classic program. I don't blame him for hating Southern for sexually abusing him. He loves to bash the company but hasn't in awhile because he finally realized his experience wasn't relative to Southern now. However, he will still defend anyone else who is the least negative about SAI.

robthree seems to think it is his duty to save the Internet from being interested in Southern. He left almost 2 years ago for UAL. His postings now are based on his experience back then....and he knows obviously very little about the current schedule, rumors, etc. At least he wasn't bashing his former pilot group this time by implying or agreeing with someone else that the pilot's are all drunks or degenerates....that ****es me off along with the rest of my fellow pilots because it is far from the truth.

Former pilots can post whatever they want on APC. However, there comes a point in time when you are no longer relavant. PotatoChip passed that point when the last -400 was parked and robthree's recent post proves he's reached that point. Just remember gentlemen...bad info is worse then no info. If you don't have current knowledge of the operation you are possible hurting someone's search for information and could cause them to make a poor decision.

No one knows the future of Southern at this point except for a few executives in the C-suite in Purchase. It could be good or it could suck.

No, this isn't really my first post. I just wasn't able to recover my old account.

I agree with Birdsmash. Some of us are committed to making Southern a great place to work, but we're far from that right now. I'm getting "that old sinking feeling", that the rumors of dozens of captain upgrades on the B777 are nothing more than a ruse perpetrated by the famous Atlas Rumor Mill (masquerading as a training department) designed to put a tourniquet on the hemorrhaging of pilots. I wouldn't advise anyone to pass up any decent opportunity offered outside of Southern, and I would caution guys not to slack off on seeking greener pastures.

It's important to note that AAWH executives have no plan to actually integrate Southern with Atlas.
