Reading the case as being laid out, I think its a pretty strong.

However, the NMB is pretty political and you never know how they will rule.

Does anyone have a link to the NMB's ruling?

It's near the bottom of that list. Click the number (112, the page number in the NMB Reporter) to download the pdf.

Default ATI's ALPA leadership

"ALPA agrees with the Carriers that ABX and ATI are operated separately and do not constitute a single transportation system. ALPA states the evidence clearly demonstrates that there is no integration of operations, labor relations, and financial control between ABX and ATI. The ATI and ABX FlightDeck Crewmembers have different collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), different employee benefits, different employee policies and handbooks, and distinguishable uniforms.

In addition, ABX and ATI have separate flight operations, and each Carrier has its own Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) operating certificate.

ALPA asks the Board to determine that a single transportation system does not exist and dismiss the IBT's application."

Ok, I don't even know where to start. Are you kidding me?? We knew the single carrier filing was an uphill battle, but such a statement coming from ALPA?
It's inconceivable to beleive that it's the membership's consensus and not handful of senior manipulative members that want separate certificates.

What makes you think that you'll benefit with different certificates? Only a handful senior guys at ATI could benefit from this. They're willing to undercut ABX to get more frames. They know whipsawing it's a 2-way street. But they don't care... they're senior enough to be protected from furlough.

Do you think ATSG wants to see ATI grow threefold? I must remind you that ABX and ATI still need to sign a new contract. Do you think ATSG wants to give ATI leverage out? Have no doubt that ATSG it's going to threaten to stop airframe deliveries to you guys if you don't sign a miserable contract. It's a never ending game for both of us. How are you planning to get job stability and security with 2 certificates?

I'm urging new hires at ATI to start voicing your opinions to your ALPA leadership. I know a bunch of you guys came from the regionals and I bet you were victims of whipsawing one way or another.

One last thought: are you willing to continue to work for the same crappy rates just so you can get more Amazon flying? I want to get a pay rise myself, but I still can make a living and send my kids to college with our current rates. Can you?

ALPA founders must be turning in their graves.
