ATI ABX ALPA Teamsters #whathappned
ATI was Teamsters I know that. Could someone enlighten me to the facts of what really transpired leading to the break of ATI from Teamsters and how exactly ABX played into this.
ATI & ABX newbs could and should be educated on this. Ive heard all kinds of stories from the ATI side oddly none are the same.
Just the facts with no emotional ties.
From what I know 1224 went into ATI's negotiations and flopped down the Airborne CBA. Then the ATI MEC made the push for the exit. Which is suspicious to me since why wouldn't you want Airborne pay.
If you can't prove it don't post it.

I agree pms would work best but you can share them or at least have knowledge
Keep in mind each groups position at the time and try to see it that way. If you do, some is understandable.
You will still be left with some "whys" but no one will probably ever know. The problem is that management, one whom you've given a unique nickname, had made deals with union personnel. It's not an opinion, many overheard a heated departure by one and another brag openly. I know you've heard all this by your post. Knowing all the above it's hard to form an opinion.
I understand wanting to know. However, that really needs to be given the nod and move on.

Dont disagree, want to know why we are in this situation. Why a decade of negotiations, why we make less than industry standard, why no one negotiated for hazard pay EVER, Why No retirement, Why no scope, Why no prosecution for Redface Bucky for Interfering with or dominating a union (Section 8(a)(2)) of the NLRA. If no one understands the cause how can you fix it. Why do the key players have methmouth,
