Yeah we appreciate the sentiment and support (genuinely, as a newer guy it was truly inspiring to witness), but maybe you guys can jump on the grenade next instead of watching us do it again

Wow there's a real snowflake for you, lets have someone else do our work for us. I say step up the number of resumes your sending out as you surely can't stomach it here.

[QUOTE=Jason605;2404928]Exactly that. "Take it or Leave it" while discussing a section of the contract during negotiations. QUOTE]

Not quite right. The company responding that way to our negotiating team asking to amend the order of items discussed by covering Scope and Parent letter first to see if they were serious in conducting expedited negotiations. Shows you that they aren't serious.

Funny-

Your company violated status quo- hence the strike.

When and if ours does- we shall "jump on the grenade"

The incredible shrinking airline!

That 252 doesnt take into account the 3 retirements I know of (names still on bid sheet) and 5 FO's who are quitting in Sept THAT I KNOW OF (obviously more than that). If I was ABX management I would do 1 of 2 things: #1 have a come to Jesus moment and get the contract done ASAP (wont happen because Joe H. Wont let them) or #2 polish up the resume because you are going to be fired before Christmas.

I really dont see any other outcome. Been nice listening to your B.S.

Abx pilots: just sit tight, don't cave on anything.
Down to 245 and the jr manning calls go out daily. Lost 7.5% of the seniority list in 6 months and the attrition is increasing.

It's happening. In my admittedly brief tenure at ABX, I had never been called for a junior man assignment. Now in the last five days, I've been called three times.

Down to 236 on the bid pack and some of those names aren't here anymore or are leaving this week. Lost almost 4% in 1 month. 11% since April.

Someone is getting fired over this

Let's hope this isn't because they are "right-sizing" to fit the anticipated future needs of the airline. That they are making junior manning calls BEFORE Peak suggests that they are indeed finding themselves short of pilots (again), but I have had this in the back of my mind for a few months as they seem to be dragging their feet on responding to the attrition.

Problem solved. All you have to do is slash the published lines to mitigate the premium pay. What staffing problem?
