Very happy to hear things have improved for our K4 brothers and sisters.

Rest assured we will fight the good fight to help to continue the upward trend for the industry.

I'm curious about the scheduling/ bidding process over at Atlas.. Here at K4 the lines are quickly getting worse and worse. Just bidding for a line is extremely taxing.. The days of only working one half of the month are gone and so is a decent QOL..!! Instead of flying you into position once, they have lines that they need to fly you from home multiple times..!!

Yes some how we managed to give away our one protection with line construction. Now the flavor is split lines and carry overs and I can't see any logical reason for doing so to the degree they are.

Yeah I'd like more info on what the schedule is actually like if someone wants to pm me, particularly on the 76.

Looks like Kalitta got 3rd bird for Turkish contract with the 4th one going in soon. Atlas has not been successful getting it renewed.

The great majority of Atlas Pilots hate that flying. Glad to hear K4 is getting most or all of it!

Every pilot that i have flown with they enjoyed it. 16 hrs of pay on hkg-ist leg is a nice one. Catering is one if the best in the system. Hotel is nice.

If you are one of those people who likes locking yourself into the hotel room, its a different story.

Id rather do that instead of the craphole like cgo or something

Being picky about flying is a luxury limited to senior pilots during good economic times.

As for TK flying, I agree that it is some of the better flying out there. The catering is good, the hotels are good, and the deadheads on TK are very nice now that the staff pass thing is fixed. (Although getting zero credit on star alliance does suck). As for losing the flying to Kalitta, I had one of the marketing and sales guys on a flight, and Atlas told TK that we wouldn’t be doing the flying come November due to peak and our UPS/Fedex support where we place 10 plus aircraft with them from Nov-Dec. We are supposed to get back the TK flying in Jan, but that probably also depends on TK taking us back then.
