Default ATI cheer uniform

Just brainstorming here but I notice that a bunch of guys are leaving 30+ early and carrying write-ups. Last week several aircraft had the TMC out, Another flown that wouldn't accelerate nor make power finally had an engine swap, someone said 39 wouldn't hold diff pressure at altitude. AP differed on another. Oh but we can leave 30 early and help the company out. With enough KY we could be the new Amazon airline.

Reality check, DHL model all the way, where has this attitude landed you so far? There is a name for someone that repeats the same behavior that has undesired results.


I was thinking someone needs to make a list of these characters so over the holiday season they can be sent some cheerleader outfits. Obviously we can go pretty hi-cut on the squirts because theres nothing there to show.


Hats off to the capt that went FULL ON Sam Kinison when being asked to leave early! Also Kudos to the FO that bravely stepped in between said captain and the loader.

OH and FYI

Looks like we'll get a holiday tour of management homes via a DJI Inspire. It will be nice to see what the bonuses are being used for. You know the ones they get based off early departures and on time arrivals. Bet the lights will be pretty this year.

Don’t use DJI, they phone home and authorities can look up the pilot based on flight plan

Hey Midnight, Pinnacle gets a bonus every time there is an early departure. I like your idea of “outing” these clueless bastards. Do it. At Abx we are!

He's not running the firmware updates, while its not mine I know the inspire has never been as restrictive I think because its aimed at commercial operators. The phantoms are bad about that.

CTR rents thermals I was told he has a 640 TAU2 for it but he won't rent his stuff to fellow pilots absolutely NOT to ATI pilots. If someone could sway his opinion.... Flight could be done and absolutely unseen.

That FLIR camera is most likely not coming back. The guy is trying to get a loan now.

I have a 19, 50, 60, 100mm but they are all weapon mount. The 50 and 100 are mostly booked through EOY.

In NO circumstance do I let them go out of state especially drone/airborne mount. Because laws are changing so fast.

As for as pilots go, I put a credit card hold (pref Amex) for half the value of the unit. I dont know many here at ATI that could replace a 60 or 100mm germanium Lens without seriously hurting them financially and I dont want that kinda stuff to sour a work relationship. Then again I don’t let those leave the state either. These arent “consumer” level units All but one are TAU2 640 @ 60hz


Have the person contact me though. I may be willing to do something for the cause.

Bigger lense more image you gather, longer range etc, less FOV.. drones do best with hi-res 640 at <19mm



On another note

There is a big push to stop all the early departures. Ive been off for a while. We still checking the previous logpages and doing a “mailing list” ???


I think its a safety issue : hear me out

I don’t show or go early the capt flying the opposite line does. The ground crews start to expect this and they are seriously busting tail and then I have a loader planner in my face asking to go early. Then saying other captains do and that Im dragging @$$.. Thats unsafe for me because it makes me get up from my seat and go about educating someone. Then that blows the whole IMSAFE checklist out if the water.

We were 18 minutes late on one flight the other day and they asked for an on-time while they were still in the cockpit! Uhhhh......NO.
