R2’s, DH, but mostly flying. We are busy, no shortage of flying.

Thanks. I'm curious how you earn more credit hours with R2. If you start an R2 day and then are assigned a trip that day you'll get paid for the R2 day plus the block hours of your flight that day? But if they assign you a trip before your R2 day then you'll only get paid for block hours?

No, if you are on an R2 and either get assigned a flight or a deadhead during or after the R2 you get either the 4 hrs of credit for the R2 or the actual hours flown (1/2 for DH) which ever is greater. If you are assigned a trip before the R2 begins, then it’s like the R2 never existed and so it’s just hours flown.

Guys with BIG pay checks work their ass off here... you wont get 200 credit our months and fly half that...

If you credit say 120...my personal best... you probably flew 90+ hours in the aircraft... long international deadheads can rack up some hours... but they arent as common as at some other international cargo carriers. If you are busy.. you probably arent getting R2's either...

We do get paid 1/2 time for commuting to work up to a maximum of 5 (pay out is 2.5) on each end... plus your flying... and an occasional R2 or commercial flight. Let me say it one more time..... there are NOT lots of soft hours to be had here.... if you have a big paycheck you flew your ass off.....

DH to work: 2.5
CVG-LEJ: 8ish
LEJ-DEL-HGK 15ish
HGK-DEL-LEJ 15ish
Rinse repeat the LEJ-HKG a few times. Throw in a few R2s for 4 hours credit and you hit 120+ in no time.
