3 stripes, that way I don't ask an F/E for the jumpseat.

Guys...
This thread reminds me of a Shakespeare play, "Much Ado about Nothing." Who really cares if a former capt (now fe) wears 4 stripes? All I care about is getting paid for it.

Polo shirts - Navy blue with FedEx logo for Capts, Orange with FedEx logo for FOs and Purple with FedEx logos for SOs. Red for Standards guys, ie. Master Warning red! ;) Khakis with belts with airplanes (like the fish ones and sailing ones) of the type you are currently flying on them. Top siders/Docksides - at least would get ride of those black sneakers so many people wear - ugh. And ball caps - Orange Bowl, Washington Redskins, FedEx NASCAR #11, etc - to show support for the marketing efforts!

So (as an example) don't tell me that my shoes aren't shined and then do 340 Knot descent, be unstable in the decision regime, and announce, "I'm going to land", after someone calls "unstable". The Captain sets the tone, both by his words and his deeds.

Hey, one is administrative, the other is operational! ;)

Too late, our giant watches already say that!

I like it. Maybe we could even wear the cargo pants the ramp guys wear. Or, we can just wear orange flight suits like all the over 60 guys used to wear in the military. I think there's still one in my dad's closet I can find.....

I like it too, but you'd never be able to bring any liquids with you when jumpseating on a pax carrier.
